A ridge of high pressure is currently sitting over the country, which means fine weather for many to end the week.
Cloud and patchy drizzle will affect parts of the west of the North Island during the morning tomorrow.
Temperatures in the Bay are expected to sit around the 23-25 degree mark during the day and around 14-16 degrees during the night.
'However, for most people, it is looking sunny,” said MetService meteorologist Claire Flynn.
Into the weekend, yet another ridge of high pressure moves onto the North Island.
'Temperatures in the east of the country are expected to warm up again this weekend, with many places reaching the late twenties, and some places possibly reaching thirty degrees,” says Claire.
'However, a cool change is expected to sweep northwards up the country during the first half of next week.”
