X-Factor stars Benny Tipene and Sarah Spicer will be ‘Live on the Lawn' down at Victoria Park in Thames this Valentine's Day.
The concert is the perfect opportunity for Coromandel music lovers and families to bring along a picnic and enjoy live acoustic music for free on Sunday, February 14, from 2pm.

Thames-Coromandel District deputy chief executive Ben Day says ‘Live on the Lawn' is one of a number of events taking place this year that received grants via council's Major Events Fund.
'This musical event is specifically designed to provide a draw card for tourists and local families into the Thames area,” says Ben.
'The focus of our Major Events Fund is to select events that are unique, preferably in the off-season and over time will become self-sustaining.”
Waihi local Sarah Spicer impressed audiences and gained thousands of fans around the country when she appeared on New Zealand's X-Factor last year.
Benny Tipene is known for his appearance on the first New Zealand series of The X-Factor where he finished in third place - and since then has skyrocketed to stardom.
Sarah will take to the stage from 2.30pm-3pm, followed by Benny at 3pm.
‘Live on the Lawn' received a $3,000 grant under round two of Major Events Fund. It is being presented in conjunction with More FM and regional tourism organisation Destination Coromandel.
