Aspiring young breakdancers dancers are being offered the opportunity of a life time to learn from one of the world's best these holidays.
This week Perth-based Kiwi breakdancer Rush Wepiha is in town to run three dance workshops for children aged five to 12-years-old.

The first 90 minute workshop took place on Monday at the Waipuna Community centre which saw the renowned breakdancer schooling 35 children on how to warmup and stretch correctly, strength and conditioning exercises tailored to dancing, plus the fundamentals of breakdancing.
Programme co-ordinator Emma Walker says they were absolutely stoked when Rush approached them offering to hold these workshops.
'Following Monday's workshop all the kids were just raving about Rush and what he taught them,” she says. 'In 90 minutes they walked away from the workshop learning heaps.
'What I really like about Rush is he covers everything – the background of hip-hop, the fundamentals of breaking – he just loves sharing what he knows with young dancers.”
Today Rush is heading to the Papamoa Community Centre to work with a group of 44 children, and then on Wednesday he'll be down at Arataki Community Centre teaching another 40 students during the final workshop.
