In a galaxy far, far away… well, maybe not that far. In fact, as fans across the globe queue up to see the latest Star Wars movie, a little town known as Te Teko is the unlikely setting for a museum dedicated to the franchise.

Yes, you read that right. A Star Wars museum in the small Eastern Bay of Plenty town of Te Teko, the owner of which is dairy farmer Jason Green.
The latest Star Wars movie The Force Awakens opens at cinemas around the country from midnight tonight, but Rob stole a march on director JJ Abrams by recently opening his museum in a garage at his home just outside the small township.
To say the 45-year-old is a Star Wars fan is a vast understatement. Jason has more than 1300 Star Wars figurines and space ships dating back to the original movie, A New Hope, which was released back in 1977.
'That's from die-cast vehicles to micro-machines and things like that,” says Jason.
That's how Jason, as an 8-year-old, got hooked on the genre.
'As a kid, that was my birthday present,” he explains
'I got Star Wars figures for my birthday and Christmas presents. That basically started me off and they did the first three movies. I got most of the figures, but I didn't quite get them all unfortunately.”
Jason says there are some pretty special items in his collection, but one thing he would love to be able to get his hands on is an original die-cast model of the Millennium Falcon.
'Any of the original 78-to-85 star ships are worth up to $180 each. The Millennium Falcon is worth up to $500. But I haven't been lucky enough to find one of those yet.”
The avid collector says he couldn't put a price on his collection.
Jason's museum has only been going a few months and can be viewed by telephone appointment.
So will Jason be lining up at midnight to watch the movie?
'I've got tickets to go,” he says, 'so I'll probably be there at 11.30pm.”
