It may be gamble free day, but one Tauranga gaming lounge has cause for celebration, as it is a finalist in the Hospitality of New Zealand's awards for excellence.

Rossco's Café & Bar on Wharf Street was selected as a finalist in the gaming category of the awards; the only business in the North Island to be selected in this category.
The judges were impressed with the safe and pleasant atmosphere provided for gaming customers by new owners Rob and Judy Dinneen.
Winners will be announced at the HANZ Awards for Excellence dinner in Taupo on 1 October as part of a three day conference and trade expo.
