Bay of Plenty have made the semi-finalists for the 2015 Toro Interprovincials after seven rounds of toil with the side joined by Otago, Northland and Waikato.
This tournament is ridden with fairy-tale endings, from back to back champions to first time winners or golfing greats retiring on top.

A young Northland side have shown consistency all week and have finally been awarded with a semi-final spot after knocking on the door in recent years. They missed out on the final hole in 2014 and have finally jumped the hurdle only losing one fixture this week.
'We've been working towards this for a few years now,” grinned Northland manager Brad Bonnington.
'With the goal being to make the semis, anything can happen from here. It was a huge win for Taylor Gill to come from behind in his first interprovincial.”
Bonnington was throwing out all sorts of stats as he couldn't hide his emotions.
'It's the first time we have made the semis since something like the 80's?”
Kadin Neho has been a part of the Northland set up for many years now and you could sense a weight off his shoulders as he entered the warmth of the old clubhouse.
'I have been playing this form of the game for six years now, just to make it to the semis is huge for the boys,” says Kadin.
'Hopefully we can get some early wins and go from there. But with match play golf, you just never know.”
The bright blue outfits of Bay of Plenty shone through the Invercargill Golf Course yesterday. After a slow start they have surged into contention and are now the form side. BOP are no strangers to winning the Toro Interprovincials with seven victories in the last thirteen years.
Otago suffered a humbling five nil loss to Wellington. In an attempt to keep their hopes alive Wellington showed no mercy as they dealt to the previously unbeaten Otago side. Sadly for the Wellingtonians they left their impressive run too late and will finish in sixth place.
The fact Otago already had a semi-final spot locked in may have affected their afternoon match, but number one Duncan Croudis believes they will be back and ready to go this morning.
'It's been a long week but this loss is a good wake up call for the lads. We have an experienced line up and we all want to send Brent McEwan off on a high after what has been a fantastic career.”
McEwan played, and won his 100th representative match this morning with friends and family watching on from behind the ropes. This will mean nothing to him as they enter a history making day of golf today.
North Harbour were left thinking what could have been as they had to sit and watch the defending champions Waikato decide their fate. They were shattered when the talented Waikato team snuck in to win three to two in beating Manawatu Wanganui in a very close match where three of the games were decided on the last hole. Harbour finished fifth.
It was a challenging day for Waikato, losing their morning match to Bay of Plenty, but they showed superb fight to win at the death when it counted.
This Waikato team has been here before and knows how to win. But is it enough in the countries premiere team's championship?
