Now into its fourth year, One Love has carved out a reputation amongst music lovers as the country's purest and most trusted celebration of ‘roots, rock and reggae'.
'It's important to us that we really put on a good show,” says festival director Pato Alvarez.
'In 2015 we had some of the best reggae bands worldwide including The Original Wailers, Katchafire and Rebal Souljahz. The party rocked and 2016 will be even better.”
Headlining the bill next year will be Compton reggae superstar J Boog who's topped the US Billboard and iTunes charts across the world and has a stack of awards and accolades to his name.
Also taking to the stage is legendary Grammy Award winning band Steel Pulse who've toured the world for more than 35 years and opened for the likes of Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Rounding out the international acts are top bands and acts Third World, Common Kings, Collie Buddz and Fiji who are all are guaranteed to get you grooving like there's no tomorrow.

Last but certainly not least, in their first New Zealand appearance in four years the much-respected Nesian Mystik are reforming specially for One Love.
'With a line-up like this, stretched over one whole weekend and at a venue located in the pumping holiday spot of Tauranga it's not surprising that tickets are selling five times faster than last year,” says Pato.
And while you're enjoying two days of top quality roots, rock and reggae, you'll also be helping children in need of love, care and protection, with $1 from each ticket sold being donated to Tauranga's amazing Homes of Hope Charitable Trust.
'Homes of Hope Charitable Trust provides an innovative response to children in need of care and protection due to neglect and/or abuse,” Pato explains.
'They are an amazing foundation that ensures our future leaders are given every opportunity to grow up in a safe, stable environment and we're proud to be working alongside them for One Love 2016.” Read the Weekend Sun next week for an interview with One Love festival director Pato Alvarez.
