A truck travelling down a country road near Te Puke on Monday afternoon lost its load after the truck's rear trailer overturned.
The truck had just travelled around a corner on Te Matai Road, south of Te Puke, at about 1pm when the accident happened.

Logs scattered across the road when the rear trailer of a fully laden logging truck overturned on Te Matai Road on Monday afternoon.

The force of the crash sent most of the logs on the trailer across the road.
No other vehicles were hit as the logs came off and no one sustained injury.
One lane around the crash scene was closed while a tow truck travelled to the scene.
Police investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
