SkyCity Northern Knights have named six Bay of Plenty players for their match against Wellington Firebirds today.
Captain Daniel Flynn, Jono Boult, Trent Boult, Joe Carter, Bharat Popli and Kane Williamson are all in the 12 man squad for their season-opening match at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

The squad also boasts five Blackcaps; Trent, Kane, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee and BJ Watling, who are available before their commitments in the Australian Test series.
Corey Anderson remains unavailable due to injury, while Ish Sodhi and Dean Brownlie are participating in the New Zealand A fixtures against Sri Lanka.
Anton Devcich is also out of the team with injury.
With a successful Spring Camp completed earlier this month in Mount Maunganui, coach James Pamment is expecting nothing short of a strong season of cricket from his players.
'We are going into the summer with the goal of three national trophies in our cabinet,” says James. 'We have a formidable mix of seasoned players as well as some exciting young blood that should make us strong contenders.”
Speaking about Devcich's injury, he says: 'Anton has fully recovered from his shoulder surgery that took place in the off-season, but is just managing a tight hamstring at present.
'We are hopeful he will be fit for Round 2 of the Plunket Shield.”
Northern Districts Cricket Association chief executive Peter Roach says he is looking forward to an exciting domestic season.
'The feeling around the camp from the players and coaches is really positive. We are hoping for a great year."
