"Blake Park" be a better venue for a concert of this magnitude, more people, more relaxed, and the acoustics are better!!!!, now I would go, not so much for my love of opera, but more to see an iconic "kiwi" perform in my hometown, I would not cross the road to attend a concert at Baycourt, certainly not one where the acoustics are the show!!!!!.
I would not either

I agree with tonyb. Baycourt has one of the worst sound system/ acoustics in the country & is an insult to people like Kiri & other great artists. We will wait until she appears in Hamilton at the Founders Theatre which is excellent. Come on Tauranga Council, fix the terrible sound system which has been bad for at least 20 years or more.
