Astrid Fisher is the new upper northern North Island regional manager for the Hospitality Association of New Zealand.

HANZ chief executive Bruce Robertson announced the appointment today.

Astrid has a sales and marketing background, and relationship management experience, predominantly within the tourism and travel industry.

She comes to the Hospitality Association from Nelson Tasman Tourism where she held roles of international marketing manager, domestic marketing manager and manager Nelson convention bureau.
As regional manager for the Hospitality Association, Astrid's responsibilities include service delivery, membership recruitment and advocacy.
