Tauranga radio station BOP FM is in liquidation as listed on the NZ Companies Office website.
The radio station went into liquidation on January 27, the day after SunLive reported station owner and managing director, Jarra Borman, promising an announcement about the radio station's future would be made the following day.
DJ JP and Brent Ireland in the BOP FM studio.
He made no announcement, and on January 30 BOP FM hosted its Beats on the Beach Part2 promotion.
BOP FM has three directors. Jarra has 35 shares, Robert Crosby of Auckland has 33 shares and Diana Hellyer, who was appointed a director of the company in December 2010, has 32 shares.
BOP FM is still transmitting. Jarra couldn't be contacted. He's listed as an advertising contact for Auckland radio station UPfm. Calls to his cell phone are being answered by another person.
UPfm is owned by LMG radio Ltd with a single Auckland director.
Jesse Archer is a former shareholder in BOP FM, but he sold his share in December 2010, and no longer has any connection with the radio station.

JP is a great DJ - keep it up JP you make good music and make people happy. Hopefully this can be sorted and you will be on the airways for a long time to come. Good Luck.
