The road from Thames to Coromandel blocked since the weekend by a slip at Ruamahanga Bay near Waiomu will re-open to one lane this evening.

The slip on the western side of the peninsula has required people travelling to and from Coromandel to either go round the top or use the Tapu Coroglen Road.
