A free open-air screening of Pixar's Ratatouille will mark the opening of the Wharf Street Dining Precinct this weekend.
Downtown Tauranga is inviting families and film buffs to the new dining area for a screening of the award-winning film about a rat who doubles up as a chef from 6pm on Saturday.

The computer animated movie, from the makers of Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc. and the Toy Story trilogy, follows the adventures of Remy – a gifted rat with a penchant for fine cuisine who forms an unlikely alliance with a young kitchen worker in a Paris restaurant.
Downtown Tauranga says ahead of the screening there will also be pre-entertainment in the dining precinct from 5.30pm.
So if you're after a free event that's sure to entertain the whole family, grab your rugs and cushions and head down to Wharf Street this Saturday night.
