State Highway 2, about 5km south of Waihi, is open again after emergency services completed their clean-up of a vehicle crash there at about 10.30 this morning.

The crash occured there at about 9.17am today.

A vehicle rolled there, with police reporting it resulted in a woman receiving moderate injuries.

Southbound traffic was diverted onto Waihi Beach Road and back to State Highway 2 from Athenree Road. Northbound traffic was diverted onto the Old Tauranga Road.
