A free Park n Ride beach bus is currently operating for people to enjoy the pleasures of the Mount without having to drive around and find a park first.

The Park n Ride is located just off Hewletts Road on Waimarie Street. There is signage to identify where to park.

The beach bus stops at Salisbury Wharf (outside the Mount Maunganui i-site), at Mount Hot Pools, on the main beach by the war memorial at Mount Drury and on the main beach on Marine Parade, by Banks Ave.

The beach bus runs every 15 minutes from 11am to 7pm until January 4, 2011.

On New Year's Eve, the free Park n Ride will run from 11am to 3am and will only pick up/drop off at Mount Hot Pools and by Mount Drury (corner of Maunganui and Grace Roads) due to road closures.
