Mouth guards, shin guards and sports shoes are being worn by children of all ages at Blake Park this morning.

Rugby, hockey, netball or soccer, there is a sport of any kind taking place this morning around Tauranga and the wider Western Bay of Plenty.

SunLive went along to Blake Park this morning to catch the action of rugby and hockey.

With parents supporting their children on the sideline and children running in all directions, the park is a hive of activity.
