Tauranga Police are on the lookout for the owner of a distinctive piece of artwork believed to have been stolen from a local holiday home.
The artwork, produced by local artist Timo Rinnali, has been handed in to Tauranga Police who believe it was possibly stolen in a burglary at some stage in the last 12 years.

A familiar scene to anyone who walks the Mount Base Track, it depicts a summer view from near North Rock.
And police would love to return it to its rightful owner.
'It was a commissioned piece painted by a local artist. Unfortunately we haven't been able to confirm details of who commissioned it, but the artist does recall a painting being stolen from a local holiday home,” say police.
'He also recalls that the victim of that theft then commissioned another painting.”
If you believe this is your painting or you have any information that might assist us in reuniting it, please contact us Tauranga Police on 07 577 4300 or via Facebook.
