Graham Clark & Russell Watkins - Political bloggers Two experienced defenders of political freedom take on the establishment through the blogospere. ‘Liberty requires eternal vigilance'. |
I thought I'd start our blogging for the year with some great freebie links. These will keep you busy (until such time as some real news comes up to comment on) educated, and hopefully more inclined to argue the case against government involvement in the economy.
Of course I could have commented on Simon Bridges' kissing hands and shaking babies walk-about, but I won't except to remind everyone of something Ronald Reagan once said, 'The most dangerous nine words in the English language are ‘I'm from the government and I'm hear to help'”. Anyway here are a few bits and bobs to keep you going for a while.
1. http://fee.org/library/books/economics-in-one-lesson/ Probably the easiest, most concise disentanglement of economics one can read.
2. http://fee.org/articles/great-myths-of-the-great-depression/ Thought you knew about the great depression?
3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QmAzEsrtyo If only we had TV journalists like John Stossel, and bankers like John Allison; TV might be worth watching again. Watch this for a phenomenon called ‘principles'.
