A few years ago very few people had heard of financial adviser Peter Schiff; now he's become a near-household name in the US and around the world – he's also now running for senate. Before the current recession started he was one of the few voices saying that massive problems were coming – he was laughed at.

Since then, some of those that laughed at him have admitted they were wrong, others are no longer giving interviews, and there are others who still claim that, 'all is well,” and that, 'the recession is over”.
In New Zealand we've had similar but less dramatic & charismatic commentators saying the same things about being out of recession.
But who will be proved right long range?
