Jazz festival? Fantastic. Book sale? Great bargains, brilliantly organised. Weather? Incredible.
Earth Wind and Fire? Missed the concert sadly, but I did get to clean up afterwards.
It seems that the organisers forgot that big mobs of people make a big mess.
Smokers. Every stub you grind has to be retrieved by someone else. Why do smokers think its ok to dump their stumps?
Drinkers. Every cap you pop has to be retrieved. Every trashed plastic glass leaves spiky shards in the grass.
Organisers. If you sell drinks in glass, you get smashed glass. The sports field you borrowed for the day is not improved as a result.
Concert goers. Hopefully you don't live like that at home.
The hazards left over from one EWF concert will haunt sporting events at the domain for months to come. Tauranga City Council – great concert, but you failed in your stewardship of that ground.
