Flo arrives home in the Mobile Vet taxi with Monique, after a big day out at Jorg's surgery.

I'm not sure what happened to Flo on Wednesday, but it must have been one hell of a party.

She came back to the office looking pretty worse for wear, slightly groggy, and with a lampshade on her head.

I heard the two-leggers talking about getting spayed. Assuming they needed the spade to clean up the backyard from various deposits left there, I didn't take a lot of notice.

However, by lunchtime there was no sign of Flo, and it's not like a Labrador to miss lunch. Gee, two helpings of nutritional Ziwipeak and only me. What a responsibility.

Then late in the day, she shows up with the lovely Monique, who must be a sort of dial-a-driver for wayward canines.

Damn, it must have been quite a wild party over there at the Mount Mobile Vets. Not only was Miss Flo ‘out of it' and dressed like Elton John in a remake of Rocketman, but she had some serious stitches in her undercarriage. So the game must have got pretty gnarly. Probably just as well I was safely tucked up on the dog couch, at least I didn't have the hangover. Our thanks to Jorg and team for taking good care of our little girl, she's already showing signs of a speedy recovery.
