Stages are set-up, marquees are on the move and the weather is looking bright for this weekend's dual show Stars Under The Stars concerts at Mills Reef Winery.

The annual event attracts thousands of concert-goers who can this year attend one of two shows on both Saturday and Sunday evening.

This year it is an 80s line-up with plenty of pure homegrown hit music featuring The Narcs, Andrew Fagan, Sharon O'Neill, Shona Laing, Margaret Urlich, Annie Crummer and Debbie Harwood.

Promoter Craig Wilson says this year's line-up is the best in the show's 12-year history.

The backing band also features Alan Mansfield, a 20-year member of Dragon and Gary Verberne, who was originally with DDSmash and The Legionnaires.

Stars Under The Stars is on Auckland Anniversary Weekend, January 25 and 26. Tickets are available for the Saturday show at Mills Reef or go online to Ticket Direct for tickets to Sunday's event.
