Tauranga fathers will be improving their parenting skills at a free course offered by Plunket tonight.
The Just 4 Dads course is specifically designed for fathers with children aged under five years and is taught by early childhood educator and father of three, Henare Gurney. It takes place at Tauranga Plunket rooms, Devonport Rd from 7-9pm.

'Dads play an important role in a child's life and it's important that we encourage and support fathers as they continue to develop their parenting skills,” says Henare.
'Sometimes it can be tricky for a father to talk about what's really going on and this course is a great opportunity for fathers to get together and discuss fatherhood in a comfortable environment.”
Topics include the male experience of parenting, active movements (how to ‘hang out' with your kids), stages of child development and positive parenting.
