The annual Omokoroa Charity Duck Race has raised $675 for Omokoroa Point School.
Young Niamh Brennan's duck won the race, which involves the race of small plastic yellow ducks.

When the idea to hold a charity duck race first came up last year, organiser Neil Badger thought it wouldn't be a problem to find the ducks, but he eventually found it quite difficult.
'The main problem was getting the ducks in the first place. But we eventually found out that Englefield gave away yellow plastic ducks with new bathrooms,” says Neil.
After several enquires and phone calls to Englefield's head office in Auckland, Neil was one day greeted with a box of 60 yellow ducks from Englefield and he also managed to get a further 20 ducks from Plumbing World in Judea.
People have entered the race by purchasing a duck at a cost of $5.
