Tauranga Lotto players win $24,112 each

One lucky ticket was sold at AJ's Lotto, while the other was bought through MyLotto. Meanwhile, Powerball has rolled over to a whopping $15 million for Wednesday night's draw.

Two Tauranga players are celebrating wins in Saturday night’s Lotto draw.

One ticket was sold at AJ’s Lotto and another through MyLotto, a media release from Lotto NZ said.

The winning Tauranga tickets were among 18 nationwide that each won $17,150 with Lotto Second Division.

Both Tauranga winners also picked up Powerball Second Division prizes, boosting their total winnings to $24,112 each.

Lotto NZ said a Lower Hutt player won Lotto First Division’s $1 million prize with a ticket purchased through MyLotto.

Strike Four was won by a Timaru player, who pocketed $700,000 with a ticket bought via MyLotto.

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to a $15m jackpot for Wednesday night’s draw.
