A three-vehicle crash has caused delays on State Highway 2 in central Tauranga between Takitimu Drive and Tauranga Harbour Bridge.

A police spokesperson said the crash was reported about 3.40pm on Te Awanui Drive.

She said there were no injuries.

However, the inside lane of State Highway 2 was ”briefly blocked".

Google Maps shows congestion on connected routes including Dive Crescent and Cameron Rd.

Takitimu Drive was backed up until Elizabeth St.
