New Zealand’s leading short film festival, Show Me Shorts, returns to Tauranga next week from October 10-12 with a vibrant lineup of screenings at the Historic Village’s Village Cinema.

Audiences can catch a curated selection of short films from New Zealand and around the world, including The Sampler (October 10), a highlights package featuring audience favourites like Peaches, Sister Josephine, Regarding Our Previous Conversation, and Help Me Tom.

The festival continues with Aotearoa (October 11), showcasing Kiwi storytelling, and Whānau Friendly, a family-friendly session designed for tamariki and caregivers.

On Sunday (October 12), The Sampler (CC) offers a captioned screening for accessibility, while Our Planet & Place explores themes of identity and environment.

Show Me Shorts brings award-winning storytelling, bite-sized drama, and cinematic creativity to local screens.
