No injuries have been reported after a car hit a power pole in the Western Bay of Plenty.

Police received a report of the crash on Cameron Rd, in Te Puke, around 6.30am.

“No injuries were reported, however it looks like the power pole may be quite damaged – power contractors have been advised," said police.

Powerco reports that one property is without power in the area this morning, and field crews are working to restore the supply.
