Car strikes fence in Te Puke

Emergency services are attending the scene of a vehicle crash in Te Puke.

“Police have received a report of a crash where a vehicle has struck a fence on Jellicoe St, Te Puke, about 7.45pm,” Police said.

“One person has required medical attention.”

Fire and Emergency NZ received a notification of a car hitting a fence at 8.15pm.

“We responded with two fire trucks from Te Puke and assisted ambulance at the scene,” Northern fire shift manager Michael Anderson said.
