Hundreds of people flocked to Te Puna Quarry Park today to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the atmosphere at the Quarry Fest today.
Volunteers were busy collecting gold coin donations from visitors to raise money for the Quarry Park, which is a popular spot for walks and other outdoor adventures throughout the year.

From 10am-4pm today, visitors browsed a range of stalls selling anything from coffee and donuts, to hair braids, plants, crafts and clothing.
Amid their shopping, people were serenaded by a pipe band and a steel pan orchestra and entertained by Wai Taiko Japanese drummers.
All of today's proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the Quarry Park.
