The rich cultural heritage and diversity that defines the Tauranga community is taking center stage today. This annual extravaganza has become a hallmark event, drawing people from all walks of life to celebrate unity, understanding, and the beauty of cultural exchange.

More than 30 groups adorned in vibrant traditional attire moving gracefully to the rhythm of diverse music genres, will transport the audience to different corners of the globe. From spicy curries to delicate pastries, the festival's food stalls offer a tantalizing selection that cater to diverse palates.

The festival also features interactive cultural exhibits and workshops, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the traditions and customs of different communities.

Katikati Lions are holding their popular monthly garage sale from 9am – 12 noon at the containers behind Caltex in Katikati. Come along, find lounge suits, beds and household goods while supporting local organisations.

"We seem to have acquired a wide variety of tools. If you are doing a bit of DIY or just want to add some tools to your toolbox come on down to the Lions Garage Sale Saturday 23rd March 2024. 9am to 12noon behind the Caltex 104 Main Road, Katikati. We have eftpos available," says a Katikati Lions club member.
