A person has been taken to hospital following a crash involving an electric bicycle in Welcome Bay on Tuesday morning.
"Police received reports of a collision on Welcome Bay Road at around 8.25am this morning," says a police spokesperson.
"This was a traffic incident involving a vehicle and an electric bicycle.
"One person was transported to hospital by ambulance staff for further medical treatment.
"The scene has since been cleared."
