Three injured following serious crash

Three people have received injuries following a serious crash on State Highway 23 in the Waikato region on Saturday night.

State Highway 23 between Raglan and Whatawhata was closed following a serious crash.

The crash, involving two vehicles, occurred near the intersection of State Highway 23 and Ferguson Road and was reported to Police at 7.50pm.

One person has critical injuries.

Two other people have minor to moderate injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit was notified to undertake an examination of the crash scene.

While the highway was closed, motorists were asked to take alternative routes where possible.
