Tauranga Synchro are getting ready for a pre-national competition display this Saturday, September 24 at Baywave, and are inviting "anyone and everyone" to come and watch free of charge.
A spokesperson for the club says the event will be a "full dress rehearsal" featuring all of their athletes ranged from 7 to 20 years of age. The event is set to start at 10.30am.
"Come and watch our display at Baywave this Saturday at 10.30am," says the spokesperson.
"The athletes have been training all year for this. The full run we are having is for the community, the athletes and their families. Anyone can come along!
"It's free of charge to come and watch. All the athletes will be in costume too, it will be a great display and last about an hour."

The spokesperson says synchronised swimming is also a fantastic way of learning skills in the water, and people who participate in the sport benefit from it greatly.
"Anybody who is interested should really come and check it out."
"The purpose of the full dress rehearsal is to prepare our athletes for the national synchronised swimming competition at Invercargill next week.
"We're wishing them best of luck for their upcoming competition. They are absolutely awe inspiring."
