Police report no injuries have been reported after a car crashed into a house in Tauranga.

Emergency services were called to a report of a vehicle collision on Milton Road, Otumoetai, just before 7pm.

"A vehicle is reported to have driven into a fence and hit a house," says a police spokesperson.

"No report of injuries and there doesn't appear to be any road closures."

A number of people have taken to the Bay of Plenty Accidents Facebook page to report seeing a vehicle flying up Grange Road before hearing a loud bang.
