There has been a serious collision between a car and a campervan in Waihi this afternoon.
Emergency services are responding to the crash on State Highway 2 and Parry Palm Ave in Waihi.
Police were alerted to the crash between the vehicles at about 2.24pm.
Two people are reported to have serious injuries.
The road has been closed and diversions are in place.
