Police can now release the name of the woman who died in a fatal crash on State Highway 27.

The crash happened in Mangatarata on Saturday, May 2, says a police spokesperson.

"She was 36-year-old Tokoroa woman Monika Mareta Kulimoeanga.

"Police extend their sympathies to her family.

"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."

People with information relevant to the crash can contact their nearest police station.
