Multiple calls are coming in about a crash on State Highway Two this afternoon.
One caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotine says there was a four car crash near Whakamarama, but a police spokesperson has confirmed that only one vehicle was involved.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a car going off the road and through a fence along SH2, near Plummers Point Road and Youngson Road at around 11am this morning.
'There were three occupants in the car but no one received any injuries,” says the police spokesperson.
'There is believed to be lots of rubber-neckers in the area of the crash.”
Another caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says traffic is backed up Pahoia.
'Traffic is at a standstill.”

Another one car accident,its the driver fault.There is nothing wrong with the road otherwise most cars would have an accident there.
Maybe it's time we all slowed down?
