Construction challenges have risen within the past week for workers constructing the 15th Ave improvement works.
A council spokesperson says this is always the case on construction site.
They say a major challenge they have come across is unknown underground services that have been found.
'This caused a slight delay but we are still on track regarding the overall construction programme.”
In the next fortnight, works on the Burrows Street intersection will start. Affected residents and businesses will receive a visit from the construction crew beforehand.
The impact of these works is expected to be minor as they are working in the berms. The first step is to locate the underground services to ensure we can move forward according to plan.

What is the matter with this council Durham St and now 15th Ave where they don’t know where the pipes are, something very wrong with their records, bloody hopeless.
