Motorists travelling along State Highway 29A and SH2 this weekend will experience road closures at the roundabouts near Baypark.

According to the NZTA website, it says the road will be closed from 5pm on Saturday July 13 until 4am on Monday July 15.

'The road closure will be at the Te Maunga rail crossing on SH29a between Truman lane roundabout and the SH2 roundabout.

'This is for further stone column installation.

'A signposted detour will be in place.”

Detour route:

From SH29a roundabout right into Truman Lane right into Maungatapu Link Road to Sandhurst Bridge to SH2.

From SH2 exit to Sandhurst Bridge into Maungatapu Link Road into Truman Lane to SH29a.

Motorists are advised to expect delays if traveling through that area and if possible to go a different route.
