A car has crashed into the side of a building at Bayfair on Sunday afternoon.
Police received a report at 3.55pm that a car had hit 'the front of Bayfair building”, near Kiwibank.
It appears that an elderly driver may have put the car into drive instead of reverse, or reversed by mistake.
The driver, who appears to not be injured has been checked by Ambulance services for shock.
It is understood that the car is significantly damaged. The driver also reportedly collided with another car, with no injuries.
There is reported to be no damage to the building.
