A person has been critically injured in a two-car crash near Te Aroha, in the Waikato.
The crash happened on Stanley Road at 10.05am on Sunday.
A police spokesman says that one person was in a critical condition and another suffered serious injuries.
"Fire and ambulance are also at the scene and a helicopter from Tauranga has been dispatched."
The road was closed for sometime to allow emergency services to work at the scene.
