A car has flipped in Mount Maunganui.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a vehicle is on its roof on the corner of Maunganui Road and Salisbury Ave.
"Police are at the scene. Doesn't look like there is anyone in the car.
"One lane of the road is blocked."
A SunLive reporter at the scene says police, fire and ambulance are all in attendence.
"Traffic going towards the Mount is flowing and cars are going around the crash."
