$500,000 for lucky Tauranga Lotto player

Two Lotto players from Tauranga and Auckland will be planning a dream midwinter getaway after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Pak N Save Cameron Road in Tauranga and on MyLotto to a player from Auckland.

Twenty-two Lotto players from around the country will be celebrating after each winning $10,925 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

Two lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $18,227. The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Pak N Save Upper Hutt in Upper Hutt and on MyLotto to a player from Auckland.

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at the following stores:

New World Regent – Whangarei, MyLotto (+PB)- Auckland, West City Lotto – Auckland, Burbank Four Square – Auckland, Mirrabooka Superette – Auckland, Sunset Superette – Auckland, Drury Lane Lotto Superette – Drury, Freds Four Square – Huntly, The Store Hamilton Airport – Hamilton, New World Whangamata – Whangamata, Fresh Choice Te Ngae – Rotorua, MyLotto - Bay of Plenty, New World Fielding – Fielding, Loveridges Lotto & Video – Hawera, Melody's New World - Palmerston North, Pak N Save Upper Hutt (+PB) - Upper Hutt, Caltex Woodville – Woodville, Countdown Johnsonville – Wellington, Pak N Save Blenheim – Blenheim, Fresh Choice Barrington – Christchurch, Oamaru New World – Oamaru, and South Dunedin Night N Day – Dunedin.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $9 million.

Strike also rolled over last night and will be $600,000 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bullseye has jackpotted to $400,000 on Sunday night, meaning it will be a Must Be Won draw. In a Bullseye Must Be Won draw, if no single ticket wins First Division, the prize pool is added to the next highest division with winners.
