Tauranga City Council is inviting the public to attend next week’s deliberations on the city’s 2019/20 Annual Plan.
Elected Members will spend up to three days from Tuesday deliberating on the Plan in the Council’s 91 Willow St building.
During these meetings, Elected Members will be considering the rates increase for next year and the external submissions Council has received.
Council received 126 submissions on the draft Annual Plan, all of which have been reviewed by staff. Forty submitters spoke at the hearings.
The sessions will help to finalise the content of the Annual Plan, which will go to Council for adoption on 18 June 2019.
The Plan sets out the Council’s spending and work programme for the next year, and updates aspects of the 10-year Long Term Plan.
Agendas will be available on Council's website before the meetings.
