KiwiBuild are announcing their first homes in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty on Wednesday in Omokoroa.

Representatives of KiwiBuild, Classic Builders, Members of the Western Bay of Plenty Council and Mayor Garry Webber will be in attendance for the announcement.

KiwiBuild Communications Manager Clint Smith says the announcement gives people an opportunity to go and see the new developments.

'Some of the KiwiBuild houses are already under construction. There is a nearly completed show home.

'There will be a few words said, and then a little tour of the developments and the progress underway.

'At the same time we will give the details out on those homes.”

Clint says anyone is welcome to view the new developments.

'The first open home is on May 25, that's when the first home will be completed and fitted out for people to view.”

The KiwiBuild announcement is taking place at 2pm at the Kaimai Views Development.
