State Highway 1 and State Highway 30 is currently closed following a crash on SH1.

Emergency services are at the scene of the serious crash involving two trucks, near Humphrey Road, south of Kinleith, South Waikato.

A police spokesperson says the crash occurred at around 8.35am.

'Initial reports indicate one person has sustained serious injuries.

'SH1 and SH30 are currently closed and motorists are advised to expect delays.”
