One lane is reportedly blocked following a two vehicle crash on State Highway 2, near Papamoa.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says police are at the scene of the crash, near the Sandhurst Drive ramp.

"There doesn't appear to be injuries, but I think St John is at the scene checking people over.

"The Mount-bound lane is blocked. People should expect some delays."
