Police have confirmed Takitimu Drive has been cleared following a one vehicle crash on the Tauranga Harbour Bridge.
'The road is open now." Says a police spokesperson.
'It opened at 3.30pm.”
The crash occurred around 1.30pm when a motorcycle hit a barrier on Takitimu Drive and the rider is in a serious condition.
The crash was in the eastbound lane heading to Mount Maunganui.
The NZTA say motorists should expect delays on State Highway 2 between Chapel Street and Dive Crescent in both directions.
